Dear Birth Parent(s), 

First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to consider us. We cannot imagine the love you must have for your child as you face this important choice. We hope that as you learn about us, you will find peace in knowing that you made the right decision. If you choose us, your child will be unconditionally supported and loved.

We first met in the summer of 2006 and immediately connected as friends. As our love and respect grew for one another, we developed a strong and committed relationship. We married a year and a half later, and our bond continues to grow and strengthen. Immediately, we wanted to start a family. After several years of trying to get pregnant, we were unsuccessful. Although we had to endure these hard times, our love and support of each other helped us to overcome these difficulties. Our strong desire still remains to be parents, and we feel adoption would provide the perfect opportunity to begin our family.

We both come from a strong network of family and friends. We enjoy spending time with them, as they have become influential in the people we are today. Both of our families look forward to the addition of an adopted child to our family. They live near us, so they would be involved in helping to raise the child. We both had happy childhoods and would use these same values to raise the child.

Our first priority will be nurturing and supporting a child. Kristen will devote all of her time to being a stay-at-home mom once a child is added to our family. Since Kristen has a Bachelors Degree in Education, she will use this knowledge to develop and stimulate the child from birth. Adam, as a doctor, will use his skill to create a nurturing and healthy environment for the child. We have the means and motivation to help the child experience all that life has to offer.

In our free time, we enjoy spending time together with friends and family. While it is important to develop these bonds with others, we spend a great deal of time at home strengthening our relationship. We also enjoy spending time with our 3 year-old cat, Tika. She is very loving and has become an important part of our family. Over the past few years, we have been fortunate to travel to the Caribbean, New York City, Washington D.C., St. Louis, and California. As children, we both enjoyed taking family vacations and look forward to continuing this tradition with a child.

Please have peace in knowing that a child placed into our home would have a loving and successful future. We would never forget the generous gift you have given to us. Nothing would make us happier than parenting a child.
