Dear Birth Parent(s), 

We can only imagine what a difficult decision this is for you to make. We commend you on your courage for choosing to give your baby the gift of life and your strength for choosing an adoption plan. We hope this letter will help you to get to know us better as you consider the type of parents you would carefully select for your child.

We have been married for ten years but have been together as high school sweet hearts for 17 years. Love, communication, and honesty are the tools that hold our marriage together. Having children has always been our dream. After we went through 4 years of infertility we sought to adopt a child. We were blessed 5 years ago with our beautiful daughter, Mya. She is the light of our lives and we love her immensely. To this day we continue to look at the pictures of Mya's Birth Mother and thank her for this amazing gift she has given us. Since our first wonderful adoption, we have been talking about and praying for another child with whom to share our lives and love.

We feel a close family, sound values, and a good education are important in raising children. We stress values that include love, respect, sharing, understanding, and honesty. Education is such an important factor for our children that we have already started an educational fund for them. To us family is the most important entity of a home. We have a large extended family that all live close to us. We enjoy spending time with them as much as possible. It is important to us that our children know their cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents and feels all of their love and support throughout their lives as well.

We thank you for taking the time to read our letter and consider us as an adoptive family for your baby. We truly feel it is a blessing to be chosen as adoptive parents and our family will always acknowledge how special you are for the wonderful gift you have given us.
