Dear Birth Parent(s),
We are so excited and grateful that you are considering us to be parents for your child and to be a part of your adoption plan. To be the parents of your child is a blessing and honor that words cannot describe. We admire your courage and dedication in finding the perfect family for your baby. Your child will be a very important part of our family.
We have been married for eleven years. We have been blessed with our son Lucas. We always wanted to have a large family but with the complications that arose from Lucas's birth we cannot have any more biological children. Lucas is a fun loving little boy that will be a protective, caring big brother. He can hardly wait to share his toys! We both have siblings and know what joys and memories having a sibling can bring and that is why we want to expand our family. Not only will your child be a wonderful gift for us, but for Lucas as well.
Our families are very supportive with our decision to adopt as four of our close cousins are adopted. Everyone is excited to have a new baby join our family through adoption. Your child will be surrounded by people full of love.
We both come from close knit families. Holidays, birthdays, phone calls and visits keep us connected. We also have a large group of friends with children who share our same beliefs and values. Our friends and their children have become our extended family. A few times a year we camp and vacation together. We enjoy just meeting at each other's houses and having a cookout. Sharing good times with family and friends is important to us. Everyone involved in our family circle is a blessing to us and have helped us become the family we are today. We are thankful for their love and support.
We will be able to provide great opportunities for your child by letting him or her experience life by traveling, participating in child-centered activities, and educational events. We try to get the most out of life and will instill that value in your child. Being active, having a good education, and doing activities together make us a well-rounded family.
We feel very honored that you are considering us to be the parents of your child. Your child is a miracle and is the greatest gift on Earth. We are forever grateful.
