Dear Birth Parent(s), 

We want to begin by expressing our appreciation for you and the courage it takes to make this important decision. We hope to tell you a little bit about our family and why we have dreams to adopt a baby.

Why We Hope to Adopt
We have been together for nine incredible years and married for six of those. We love being together very much! Both of us have always loved children, and after several years of infertility, we chose adoption as our way to build a family. Becky grew up with an adopted brother, and we feel that he's the greatest gift our family has ever been given. We know that birth parents place children in families out of love, and believe these adopted children are the most precious gifts in life.

Our Lives
Becky is a Special Education Teacher for children of all ages. Her love for children is evident as she works with many different kids each day. The school schedule is great for a Mom, because Becky is home during the summers and has several weeks of vacation during the school year. Matt works as a heavy equipment operator building roads and ponds. His job is stable, and it provides an excellent schedule for a Dad. He works close to home and has up to eight weeks of vacation time each winter. As hopeful parents, it is important to us that our jobs will allow us to spend a lot of time with the precious new addition to our family.

Description of Our Home
- 1,500 square foot ranch style home with a deck in back
- Open and sunny with plenty of room for a family
- Quiet, rural setting slightly north of Green Bay and near both our parents, all of our siblings, and many cousins
- 2 Acres of land with 4 apple trees, a vegetable garden, a pumpkin garden & flower gardens
- Our alpacas are raised at home on our land

Matt & Becky's Interests & Hobbies
Together we enjoy walks in the woods, biking, fishing, movies, PlayStation 3 Move games, and just about anything that allows us to spend time together as a family. We spend a lot of time with our extended families doing a variety of activities ranging from celebrating holidays, birthdays and special days, to relaxing on the lake in our boat. Matt spends his free time with family and friends, landscaping, and snowmobiling. Becky spends her free time on our alpaca ranch training the animals. She spins yarns, and weaves and knits using alpaca fleeces. We both volunteer with our alpacas for 4-H, Cub Scout Groups and other community events. Most of all we spend any time we can together as a family, and are so thrilled at the possibility of welcoming a child into our lives. We are looking forward to sharing our hobbies with a child and watching a child's own interests and hobbies develop!

Our family has a great deal of laughter, love, stability, strong family values and caring extended family to offer. All of our family members are very excited about the possibility of a new family member to welcome and love. We value your decision immensely and want to express that we are both completely open to communication with you, and would welcome ongoing contact.
