THANK YOU...
We want to start our letter by thanking you for choosing to honor life. We realize that adoption was not the only option that you had when you first learned of your pregnancy, and we are already impressed by your courage and strength. You are already considered very special to us, and if we are chosen to love and cherish your baby as our own, that child will always be told what selfless and loving birth-parents he or she has.

WHO ARE WE?
Our names are Ted and Jamie and we have had two biological children; a still-born daughter delivered at 27 weeks and our son, Tommy who is four years old. Jamie developed severe preeclampsia and was put on immediate bed rest during both of her pregnancies,. Her body simply cannot take care of itself and another growing, unborn child. Less than a year after our daughter was taken safely into the arms of Jesus, Tommy was born six weeks prematurely. We then realized how tragic and scary pregnancy is for our family.   Because, like you, we honor life, we decided that it was too risky for us to consider having another biological child together.

ADOPTION MEANS...
For us, adoption means that we have another chance at growing our family! It means that a very special gift of a child may be given into our hands and provides another opportunity to parent and love a sweet, beautiful, newborn baby. Because we have already experienced parenthood, we know that this child will warm our hearts, bless our home, share our laughter, stir our emotions, and tickle our souls. This child may also challenge our instruction, reject the food we serve, oppose our given bed-time and even throw a full blown temper tantrum in the middle of the grocery store! We deeply long to bring another life into our home, but we are physically unable to do this on our own. So, we are seeking you. We ask you to consider us to parent and love your beautiful child.

MORE ABOUT US
There are a few more important things we want you to know about us! Ted is a business owner, giving him flexibility to be involved with the children and at home. Jamie is a stay-at-home-mom; she loves being available to care for her husband and children each day from home. We like to be very involved at church and in other activities as a family. Finally, we are surrounded by a diverse group of friends and know two families that have adopted bi-racial children from Adoption Angels. We feel very blessed to have such a loving network of people to support us.

We know that God has used the past years of our lives to prepare us for this specific adoption plan. We are excited to see which birth-family He has for us to meet and walk with on tlie lifelong journey ahead. We hope that you know how deeply God loves you and that He desires you in His family. He has great plans for you and is doing a mighty work within you!
