Thank you for opening your heart to adoption and considering us as an adoptive family! We admire you for the responsible decision you are making for your baby, as well as your own future. We feel that every life is important, so we truly respect the fact that you were selfless and decided to go through with your pregnancy. It is our hope that you have love and support, especially during this time in your life. We are praying for your good health and that you will feel certain when you choose your baby's adoptive parents. Here is a little about us to help you understand our excitement in going through the process with you!

Our names are Travis and Laura, and we are both 28. We have been married for over five years, and our relationship is founded in friendship and trust. We met in high school and started dating when we were in college together, so we have actually known each other for 13 years and been together for around 9! After trying to conceive for a couple of years, we were tested and found out that we could not have a baby together. It was a hard thought to accept because we were ready to start a family. It's wonderful how something sad can open a door to the path you were meant to be on in the first place...

Laura's family has actually volunteered with an adoption agency for about ten years! They are a transitional home for babies who are awaiting placement, so we were able to help her parents take care of babies during holidays while we were in college. This connection to adoption also led Laura to work for adoption agencies throughout college, allowing her to interact with birth parents and transitional care families. We are eager to be the last link in the baby's journey- their loving, secure adoptive home.

Our 3 bedroom home is full of laughter, music, and pets! We have three cats and a dog that are good with children. We love relaxing together in the media room upstairs, or in our big kitchen and living area. We live in a nice cul-de-sac where many of our neighbors have children because we are near parks and great schools. We both graduated with our Bachelor's degree, so we will support our children as they continue their education. We enjoy being outdoors and can't wait to take our kids hiking, fishing, and boating. Travis also likes playing and watching sports, and Laura loves reading in her spare time. Family is important to us, so we get together monthly. Both of our extended families are extremely happy that we have decided to adopt. They can't wait to have another baby in the family!
