We want to thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We pray that God will guide you through this difficult decision and grant you peace and joy in knowing that you are doing something very special for your child. Our hearts' desire is to become parents, and we would devote our unconditional love and support to a child that we are blessed to share our lives with. If you choose us, we promise that your child will be raised in a nurturing home, and that his/her needs will be provided for both emotionally and financially. Above all, our #1 goal would be to make sure that your child is surrounded by love and that he/she has a healthy and happy life.

We met each other as sophomores in high school. Our friendship progressed and we began dating our senior year. Two years after graduating high school, we married in July 1999 with the hope of starting a family.   Unfortunately, we have suffered many losses and shed many tears in trying to do so. Relying on each other's love and support has allowed us to endure the hard times. We still have a great desire to be parents, and we feel that adoption would be a wonderful opportunity to share our home, our lives and our hearts with a child.

We both place great importance on raising a child, and want to make sure that a child raised in our home would be given the maximum amount of attention and support. Sheryl looks forward with great anticipation to staying home and being a full time mom when a child comes into our family. We also value education and would provide a child with all the resources needed to have the best educational opportunities, both in grade school through high school (our town has an excellent school system) as well as at a college university.

In our free time we enjoy spending time with our 6-year old beagle, Maxwell. He became part of our family as a puppy and enjoys taking walks and playing in our yard. He is excellent with children, and enjoys the attention he receives from the neighbor kids and our nephews and niece. We also enjoy taking vacations and in the past few years have been to Florida, Las Vegas, Nashville, and New York City. We look forward to taking family trips with a child to Disney World, the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, and much more.

Our families and friends are very supportive of our desire to adopt. Both sets of our parents have been married for over 35 years. Our families live nearby and that allows us to get together on a regular basis. They are all excited about the possibility of welcoming a new baby into the famly.

Our home has four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. We have a good-sized lot with mature trees, large patio for entertaining and a fenced in backyard. There is plenty of open space to play yard games and run around - we already have a spot picked out for a swing set. Our neighborhood consists of many families with children of all ages, and is adjacent to a nature conservancy with walking trails. Nearby our home are many parks, playgrounds and lakes to enjoy.
