Dear Birth Parent(s), 

Thank you for taking the time to consider us as worthy parents for this child.  We look at this child as being an amazing gift from God, and we are looking so forward to holding this child in our arms, and becoming a family.

We feel very blessed that we learned of Addie’s infertility issues more than 8 years ago – even before we began dating.  Therefore, adoption is not a “second choice” for us – it’s our number one desire.  We’re committed to bringing a child into our home and having the opportunity to raise it.  We look forward to sharing with our child how they were “born in our hearts” and the wonderful gift their birth parents gave all of us.

We live in a beautiful and safe home, and are lucky to be surrounded by a quiet suburban neighborhood.  Our yards are large, and children are playing constantly.  We have one Golden Retriever, named Miles Davis.  Miles is a sweet 5-year-old boy who adores playing fetch with his dad and snuggling with his mom.  Miles can frequently be seen playing in our backyard with the neighborhood children.

We are very close to our extended family, especially our nieces and nephew.  We spend a lot of time with our family, either through family meals or enjoying long weekends at our family’s summer cottage.  They are truly supportive of our adoption journey, and cannot wait for us to bring home another addition to our loving family.

We have many dreams for our child, but most importantly we want to support them in their dreams.  We hope to guide them in a path that will lead them to a college education, and allow them opportunities to expand their horizons.

We are a fun-loving, supportive, Christian couple.  While we greatly enjoy our life together, we know that expanding our family with a child will be absolutely amazing.  Having the opportunity to love a child more than us is a beautiful gift that we will treasure and thank God for daily.
