Dear Birth Parent(s)

We would like to thank you for taking the time to read about our family. We hope this letter will give you a good description of our family and show you how open our hearts and home are to loving and raising another child.

Our names are John and Carrie and we have been married for 10 years. We have 3 children: Cody who is 8, Audrina who is 5 and Alia is 2 1/2 years old. We began trying to have kids shortly after we were married and with the help of fertility drugs, got pregnant with Cody. We tried for a few years to get pregnant again without success. We had always considered adoption as a way to expand our family, but didn't know this was God's plan for us until a few years later. We were very blessed to have adopted Audrina from Guatemala in 2007 and Alia from Texas in 2009. We love being parents to these 3 beautiful children and have always dreamed of having 4 children. We hope through adoption we are able to fulfill our dream and complete our fun-loving family.

Carrie has her college degree in nursing and works as a RN in a surgery center. She works 4 days a week and is usually done with work by 4:00, which allows her to come home and cook dinner and help with homework. John has his Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. He works as a project manager for his parents Construction Company. Working for his family allows him the flexibility to take off when needed for the kids.

We live in a large 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home on 2 acres in the same town where we both grew up. All of our family lives within 10 minutes of our house, so we spend a lot of time with them. John's parents still live on the family farm where his 2 brothers, sister, and he grew up. His sister is married and has 3 children. His youngest brother is also married. We get together every Sunday morning after church to eat breakfast at his parents' house. Carrie's parents live with her sister Casey, who is 17 years old, in her childhood home. Carrie's mom is retired and watches the kids while we work. Carrie's mom and dad love being grandparents and hardly miss any of the kids' games or school functions. Both of our families were very excited and supportive about us adopting Audrina and Alia and love them both very much. They are also very excited about us adding to our family.

We are an active, fun-loving family who would love to share our life with another child. We will offer your child a home filled with lots of happiness, love, and security. We will work hard to help them learn about their heritage and create a lifetime of wonderful memories and family traditions that they can pass on to their children. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you as you continue your adoption plan.

All our Love,

John & Carrie
