Dear Birth Parent(s),
We have been married for 17 wonderful years. We met in high school and became high school sweethearts. All together we have known each other for 24 years. We basically grew up together. After we both completed college we decided to get married. We had always talked about having children and all the things we wanted to do as parents. After being married for 2 years we decided that we were ready to start our family. Well, it wasn't that simple. We tried to have a baby for eight years and after going to several infertility specialists, we realized that maybe this wasn't the way God wanted us to have a family. All of the doctors agreed on one thing and that was that they could not find anything wrong with either of us. They placed us into what they called "unexplained" infertility. After many prayers, we decided that it was God's will for us to adopt. We believe that God chooses certain people to be adoptive parents as well as birthparents.
From the moment we are born, God has a plan for us. It just takes us a little longer to realize that plan for our lives. After being married for 8 years we adopted our baby girl- the most memorable day of our lives. There was no question that this little one was born in our heart and she was a gift. She brings us joy every single day.
Our family loves sports and the outdoors. We are very active and involved with whatever is taking place in our community. We have a fairly large yard and 3 dogs. They are all very sweet and gentle. I plan to stay home with the baby. We both have very flexible schedules, so between the both of us we will always be the ones taking care of our children. We both have family nearby and everyone is looking forward to our new arrival. We also love to travel and go new places. It's a great education tool for children to see the places they study about. Education is extremely important to us. We encourage our daughter and will encourage our new child to attend college after high school. It is imperative to be educated in order to be able to survive in this world.
We are all very excited and looking forward for another little miracle to enter our lives.
All children are gifts from God and all deserve to be loved and cared for. You may not know us, but we have been praying for you since we began this journey. We have prayed for you to have peace and know that what you are doing is the best decision for you and the baby you carry. We both believe that you are a very brave and unselfish woman. Because you are choosing life for this unborn child, please know that you are a blessing to the adoptive couple you choose and in return you will also be blessed.
