After years of struggling with infertility, we decided to expand our family through adoption. We found Adoption Angels and were blessed beyond measure with the birth of our son Ryan in 2006. Since then, our lives have changed in more ways than we imagined, all for the better of course! Ryan is a very loving, energetic child who loves to be silly and make others laugh. He enjoys playing outside in his sandbox or on his swing set, or riding his tricycle through the neighborhood. Ryan also enjoys reading, painting, and working on puzzles with us. He especially loves to help out around the house with cleaning and laundry! He is SO excited about becoming a big brother, and we know that he will be a great one. |

Why We Will be Great Parents
Parenthood has been a true blessing for us! Everyday we enjoy spending fun family time together, whether it’s playing kickball in the backyard or working on puzzles at the kitchen table. Our schedules allow us to spend a lot of time together, especially during the summer when Lisa is on vacation from teaching. David thinks Lisa is a good mom because “of her patience. It comes from her faith and her strong sense of family, and is most visible in her approach to parenting.” Lisa thinks David is a good dad because “he is absolutely dedicated to his family. Everything he does is for us. He strives to set a good example for Ryan and is always eager to answer Ryan’s many questions.” We both come from very close, loving families, and have learned a lot from our own parents about raising children in a happy, healthy environment. And both our families have given us tremendous support in raising our son Ryan and we know that it will continue. We have plenty of love in our home to offer any child, and we can also offer the support a child needs, be it emotional, spiritual, or financial. Ryan has taught us so much about being parents, and about ourselves, and this process continues every day. We are having the best time being parents and are excited about growing our family! |
