Getting To Know Us
How We Met

Phil and I met on May 3rd, 2001, in the monkey section at the zoo to a band ironically called "The Love Monkeys". We both were dragged out that night by friends to go to a March of Dimes benefit dance. We didn't want to be there; however, we were later grateful our friends made us go out. From the minute we saw each other, it was love at first sight--just like in the movies. Talking to each other was easy, and it was like we always knew each other. We became best friends right away as we had similar values (common faith, work ethic, goals, hobbies) and got married on July 5, 2003. Our love continues to grow each day.

Why We Will be Great Parents
As a teacher, I have a background in child development and have had fourteen years of experience in motivating children to reach their full potential. We both are kids at heart and have a sense of humor which allows us to relate well to children. We enjoy doing fun things such as going to sporting events, playing sports, going to music concerts as well as traveling and learning new things. Our sound values (faith, strong work ethic, responsibility, honesty, etc.) allow us to be good role models. In addition to offering our child lots of opportunities through education, travel, and exposure to many recreational experiences, our child would be supported and loved unconditionally no matter what. We, as well as our extended families, have so much love to offer a child!
