| We have three families in the neighborhood who have children close to Mateo’s age. In this photo, Mateo plays in our home with his friends Kaley and Addison, who are adopted from China. We feel lucky to know other families who have adopted so as Mateo grows, he views his adoption as one way to build a family, rather than an oddity. |  |
