We both have rather large extended families with many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins on both sides. Karen's extended family all lives in the same city, most even on the same road! Jeffs parents and extended family only live an hour away and thankfully we get to see them often. One of the really nice things about having such a large family is the holidays! Everyone brings a dish or two and we all have such a great time visiting and laughing. The kids usually retreat to the game room while the adults spend time catching up. Jeff & Karen's family get along so well, we love spending the holidays together as one big family! We have spoken extensively with our family regarding our adoption. Everyone is not only "on board", but absolutely thrilled! We are so loved and so fortunate to have such wonderful, supportive, families.

Our neighbors are mostly family members which is very convenient for last minute festivities. We have a very diverse city with many activities to participate in. Our city is home to several of the best schools in the state! We are minutes away from several beaches, and only a few hours from the mountains. We love knowing that we are in our forever home!
