Hello, I’m Lore Carvalho and proudly serve as the Director of Adoption Angels. With over 17 years of adoption experience, my career is driven by a passion for assisting birth mothers and enriching the lives of our adoptive parents. I founded Adoption Angels in 2003 with the goal of bringing as many families together through adoption as possible. I have gathered a dedicated and gifted staff that shares my belief that by helping others, we may reach our steadfast objectives. I have a loving family including my supportive husband, and two talented daughters one of whom is also a staff-member at Adoption Angels. I’m involved with every aspect of the adoption process and cherish the opportunity to satisfy any of our client-family member’s needs.
Hi, I’m Rosalind Forte and I am the Director of Social Service at Adoption Angels. I have been in the field of social work for almost 25 years and maintain an administrator’s license for child placing agencies in the state of Texas. I work closely with adoptive parents, their social workers and agencies helping them to complete their necessary paperwork in order to adopt. Seeing a child placed with a loving family is the greatest reward a social worker can ask for. Working at Adoption Angels is a genuine pleasure.
Hi, I’m Colleen Campbell Washington and I have been a social worker since 2003 and have been fortunate enough to have been on staff here at Adoption Angels since 2005. I enjoy the opportunity to counsel birthmothers through an adoption plan. I have seen what a thoughtful process this can be and what a phenomenal impact adoption can have on both adoptive parents and birth parents. As a recent mother I empathize with the difficult decisions that birthparents face and assure them that they are making people’s dreams come true.
Hi, I’m Jennifer Simmons and I am the newest members at Adoption Angels. I graduated in 2006 from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. This degree is just the beginning for me, but solidifies the fact that I truly enjoy helping people. The entire adoption process holds a special place in my heart, as I actually placed my daughter up for adoption 12 years ago. This process touched and changed my life so much I felt that I would be great at the position since I can relate to what our birth mothers are going through. Adoption is such a heartfelt decision for all involved, it is wonderful to see this process blossom for different families that are unable to have children. I truly believe there is no greater gift, than the gift of love.
Hi, I’m Brittany Carvalho-Renner and as the marketing specialist at Adoption Angels I am dedicated to optimizing the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising. We are constantly developing innovative outreach programs for birth parents and adoptive families. I studied Mass Communications at Texas State University where I focused on Advertising and Graphic Design, fields that have proven to be invaluable to the work I do here. I believe family is the greatest blessing in life. Being a part of the Adoption Angels family and having the opportunity to work alongside my mother has been an indescribable experience for which I am exceptionally grateful. I hope that you too will become a part of the Adoption Angels family.
HI, I'm Laura Torres and I am the office manager at Adoption Angels. I have a history of administrative employment through various non-profit organizations. I am fluent in Spanish which has allowed me the opportunity to work closely with our Spanish speaking clientele. I have truly enjoyed this opportunity to better understand the adoption process and the emotions involved on the part of birth parents. One of my favorite aspects of this job is getting to witness the joy experienced by our adoptive parents after they have received a placement. Being a mother of three is the greatest joy in my life so helping make families is work I can truly be proud of. I am available to assist all clients through their adoption journeys.
