Our names are Brandon and Melody, and we are so glad to meet you! We can’t fully understand the weight of the decision you’re facing in making an adoption plan, but we deeply admire your courage and strength. What you are considering would bring immense joy to a family who has likely spent years longing for a child to love. Through this letter and album, we’d like to share a bit about ourselves and why we’ve chosen adoption. We met and married in southern California and have been married for 12 years. Since moving to Texas, we’ve built a loving home and community here. We believe God called us to be parents, and while our path to parenthood has been unexpected, adoption has always been on our hearts. Melody was adopted at birth and understands the incredible blessings of adoption firsthand. After five years, many tests, and three failed IUI attempts, we began pursuing adoption. In December 2023, we were blessed to adopt our son, Aiden, and our lives have been forever changed. Now, we hope to adopt again to share our love with another child and allow Aiden to grow up with a sibling. 


If chosen to be your child’s adoptive parents, we promise to raise them in a loving Christian home, teaching Biblical principles and morals. We’ll provide opportunities for them to grow, learn, thrive, and develop a deep sense of love, respect, and responsibility, all while offering unconditional love and support. Additionally, Melody can uniquely answer any questions your child may have about their adoption as they grow. 


We are surrounded by a large, loving network of family, friends, and a supportive church community who will joyfully welcome your child into our lives. Melody’s experience as an adopted child makes her especially sensitive to the importance of understanding one’s roots. If chosen, we hope to develop an ongoing relationship with you and walk alongside you in this journey.

Meet Brandon

Meet Dan

Dan is the most amazing person on the planet. He is everything that I ever wanted in a husband, and our son, Garrett, is so lucky to have him as a father. He is kind, patient, and hard-working. He loves to spend his free time playing with Garrett and teaching him new things. I am 

so proud of the parent he is; Dan was meant to be a father. 

Meet Brandon

Brandon is also a loyal friend and wise beyond his years, often serving as a sounding board for those who need guidance. But he also has a playful side, especially with those he’s closest to.

When Melody worked, her coworkers affectionately called her the "Office Mom," and now, as a stay-at-home mom, I’ve seen her motherly heart truly flourish as she loves and serves our son, Aiden. As a mom, she is loving, patient, creative, consistent, fun, and always well-prepared. I know she is excited to see our small family continue to grow.


Melody is an excellent planner and multitasker, working efficiently and quickly, which complements my more analytical engineer's brain. She loves to travel, and we enjoy going on adventures together—even when those adventures lead us to getting lost! Her fun, easygoing personality can make even the most boring activities feel like an adventure. Melody is an incredible wife and mother, and I can’t wait to see the amazing people our children will become with her love and guidance.

Our Story

We met in southern California in 2009 at our church’s singles ministry and began dating in 2011 after spending time getting to know one another as friends. We spent multiple evenings each week at the church attending services and serving as college student leaders. We also spent countless hours hanging out, eating meals, or attending other events with our friends. Our shared love for our family, friends, church, travel, good food, and all things sci-fi and Disney solidified our status as each other’s best friends. We got engaged at a beautiful botanical garden on Mother's Day weekend in May 2012.


Four months later, we got married surrounded by those we love most in the courtyard of our church on an unexpectedly hot day in September. Our wedding was the first to be held in the small courtyard, but we saw the potential in the space and were convinced it was just right for our wedding. With the help of our friends and family, we pulled everything together for a beautiful DIY wedding full of joy and love. Melody even arranged all the flowers!

Meet Aiden

Aiden is our silly, adorable, fun-loving ball of energy! We had the joy of adopting him just before he turned four months old, and we fell in love instantly. From the beginning, we couldn’t imagine life without him.


He was an early crawler and walker, and he hasn’t slowed down since—always running, climbing, and exploring. Curious and determined, he’s constantly pointing and saying “dat dat” to learn about the world.


Aiden loves books (especially his “indestructible” ones), bath time, and anything involving water. He enjoys climbing and sliding on the jungle gym we got him for his first birthday, and he’s a big fan of animals—especially dogs!


Whether it’s a trip to the zoo, a walk through the mall, or a run at the park, Aiden loves being out and about. We can’t wait to see his personality grow even more—and watch him become a wonderful big brother someday!

Our Home

Shortly after we got married, we made the decision to move from Southern California to Texas. In 2013, we purchased our first home together and have spent the past 11 years making it our own. From painting and building furniture to decorating, we’ve truly become a DIY couple. Our home is two stories with four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. We spend most of our time on the first floor in the kitchen and living room, but we also have a game room upstairs with Disney posters, where we put our Christmas tree every year.


We love hosting friends and family, and we can’t wait to turn one of our bedrooms into a second nursery. Visitors often comment on how cozy and homey our house feels, and we couldn’t agree more!

We live in a quiet neighborhood near numerous walking trails and parks. We also live close to an amazing children’s museum, the zoo, the local town square, and a unique state park with alligators! Our church has many young families, and it’s been a wonderful built-in support system throughout the adoption process and our journey as parents. We’re excited for more playdates and family time at these places, and we look forward to discovering even more spots to explore together.

Brandon's Family

I’m the middle child of three, with an older brother and a younger sister. We’re a small but very close-knit family and love spending time together—sharing meals, watching movies, and playing games. Christmas is especially important to us. My mom and stepdad go all out with gifts, food, games, and lots of cookies—it’s a festive, joyful time we always spend together.


My brother, also a Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s, used to build rockets (he’s seriously smart!) and lives with his wife in Southern California. My sister is a full-time mom to three kids and lives near my mom in Northern California, where we usually celebrate the holidays. My mom works in payroll and taught us the value of hard work from a young age.



My family has been incredibly supportive of Melody and me throughout the adoption process. They adore Aiden and are so excited to welcome another child into our family with open arms.

Melody's Family

I was adopted at birth after my parents struggled with infertility. By God’s grace, my mom became pregnant shortly after, and my sister was born just a week before my first birthday. Over the years, our family grew—I’m now one of six girls, including one adopted sister and four stepsisters. I also have three nieces and four nephews, ages ranging from under a year to 11.



My mom, a retired nurse, still lives in my childhood home by the beach in Southern California, and we cherish visits with her. My dad, a psychologist, and my stepmom live an hour from us in Texas, along with three of my sisters and their families. The rest of my sisters are in California, and we visit them when we can. My entire family loves Aiden and is excited for us to grow our family through adoption—they’ve been incredibly supportive.


Being adopted myself, I understand the importance of knowing where you come from. I’ve always felt deeply loved by my adoptive family while also maintaining a relationship with my birth mom, half-siblings, and extended birth family. That experience has shaped our openness to an open adoption, and we look forward to building that kind of connection in our own journey.

Greetings From…

We love to travel and go on adventures! We enjoy road trips, cruises, camping and hiking, as well as visiting new and exciting places, especially with our friends and family. Some of our favorite destinations include Hawaii, Alaska, Italy, Israel, and Greece. Our favorite national park is Yosemite, where we hiked Half Dome together. We are also huge Disney fans, visiting either Disney World or Disneyland about once a year; we can’t wait to take Aiden along! We enjoy visiting our family by the beach in California, as well as driving up to the mountains. Aiden is already a pro at flying, and we hope to continue fostering a love for travel and adventure in our growing family as we explore many new and wonderful places together!

We have many family traditions throughout the year where we are able to spend time making memories we will cherish for a lifetime. We can’t wait to continue to share our established traditions as well as start new traditions as our family grows!

 

Aiden had three 1st birthday celebrations - one in Kentucky, one in California, and one at home in Texas! We have an  Easter Egg Hunt every year with Melody's family, where even the adults get to hunt eggs filled with candy!


We have hosted Thanksgiving for our family for the last 10 out of 11 years! Melody makes a full Thanksgiving dinner & Brandon is always in charge of glazing the ham and making home-made cranberry sauce! We go shopping on Black Friday and like to stop at In-N-Out Burger to fuel up!


Christmas is our FAVORITE holiday! We typically travel to California to celebrate with Brandon's family for a few weeks every year! Brandon's mom makes a huge pot of chili, which we eat on Christmas Eve. The next day we wake up to open presents together! The trip is filled with games, light displays, video games, comfy PJs, Christmas movies, presents, and SO MANY COOKIES!

Our Friends 

We love spending time with our friends and family whenever we can! Our friends are incredibly special to us, and we consider them an extension of our family. Two of our closest couple friendships began back when we were all single and involved in church ministry in California. Although we all live in different states now, we make it a priority to visit them and can’t wait for Aiden to meet them!

Aiden’s cousin club is quickly growing and now includes six boys and 5 girls; it is chaotic and wonderful when they all get to spend time together. We’re also part of a local church and a home Bible study group, where we continue to build close, deeply rooted friendships. We prioritize activities like park days, zoo trips, shared meals, and playdates with our loved ones.

Hello & Thank You , First, we want to thank you for taking a look into our lives and reviewing our book. We can’t even begin to understand what you are going through, but we pray that God continues to give you strength and courage through all the emotions you are feeling. We know that you are a selfless woman just by knowing that you are choosing to create an adoption plan for your child. Our names are Jose and Daniella. We met each other in 2014, and we got married in 2016. A year later, we began trying to have a child of our own. After three years of seeing a fertility doctor and seven years of trying different treatments, we were unsuccessful. Jose and I want to expand our family, and we know adoption is the answer to our prayers. We both have siblings we grew up with, and we hope that we are able to add another sibling to expand our love and family in the near future. We want you to know that your child is already loved by so many, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many more family members. We promise to raise your child with unconditional love, provide many life skills, compassion, respect, morals, and provide any education your child dreams of. We also believe in God and would love to raise your child knowing who God is. If you choose us to be part of your adoption plan, we can assure you that we will share your child’s adoption story with them from the very beginning. Our journey to adoption has been deeply personal. While we have faced struggles with infertility, our desire to adopt began long before we were married. Growing up, Chelsea was surrounded by adoption. Two of her siblings, her aunt, and her uncle were all adopted, so building a family this way has always felt natural to her. Our faith in God plays a central role in our lives, guiding us to love, serve, and trust His plan. Adoption reflects the love and grace we believe He has shown us, and it is a path we hold very dear. After facing challenges and experiencing a loss, we were so blessed to welcome our daughter, Sofia, into our lives through adoption. She is everything to us, our little miracle and a daily reminder that love and hope can turn any hardship into something beautiful. Hello & Thank You , We are Dani, Joe, Emerson, and Benjamin. Nice to meet you! We are so grateful to you for taking the time to get to know us a little better. We realize you may be feeling many different emotions at this time, and we want you to know that we will be supportive of you and your child. We will care about you, too. Our hope in creating this book is that you'll feel the love, laughter, and joy in our daily lives and our adventures, and be able to imagine what a life with us could be like for your child. We have two children, Benjamin and Emerson. After complications from Dani's pregnancy with Emerson that led to a hysterectomy, Dani is no longer able to carry a child. In 2023, we adopted our son, Benjamin, and have an open relationship with his birth family. We are so grateful to his birth family for choosing us and trusting us to raise their child. We are excited to grow our family once again through adoption and are thankful to you for taking the time to get to know us. If you choose us, your child will grow up alongside two sweet and playful big brothers who are curious, energetic, and full of love. They will also have a gentle golden retriever nearby for snuggles and games of fetch. Hello & Thank You , Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about us and consider us as you explore your options. We know this isn't an easy decision. While we cannot know what you are experiencing, we truly respect the care and thought that goes into creating an adoption plan. We are Douglas and Pamela. We’ve been together for thirteen years and married for nine. Throughout our relationship, we’ve talked about building our family through adoption, and Pamela has known since she was a teen that adoption would likely be the safest way to start a family. While we did spend time hoping to conceive, we later learned that pregnancy would come with significant medical risks, including a very high chance of miscarriage and complications that could affect both her and the baby. After many visits with doctors and thoughtful conversations with each other, we chose adoption as the right path for us. We’re excited to open our hearts, our home, and share everyday moments together as a family! If chosen, your child will be raised in a loving, stable environment where they are deeply cared for and supported. They will grow up knowing their story began with love and care. Hello & Thank You , From the very beginning, we want you to know you are seen and valued. We can’t imagine the strength it takes to walk this journey, and we truly admire your courage. As it says in Isaiah 41:10, “Do not fear for I am with you. I will strengthen you and help you.” We pray you feel that promise wrapped around you. That you are not alone, that you are supported and that God’s strength is carrying you through each step. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. It feels hard to put into words how much love and gratitude we already feel as we write this. Our names are Abbey and Jesus, and we live in Texas with our two dogs, Drax and Willow. Little did we know that a simple haircut would be the start of our lifelong adventure together. We have been together for eight years and married for almost 5 years. From that day forward, we built a life full of love, laughter, and faith. Every step has brought us closer, and now our hearts are ready to welcome a child with the same care and devotion we’ve poured into each other. We later found out that we could not have biological children due to infertility issues. While that news was difficult, it only strengthens what we already knew in our hearts that we wanted to be parents and share all the love we have to give. We have been married for 10 years and have known each other for 14. From the very beginning of our relationship, we knew we wanted to build a family together. About a year into our marriage, we began trying, but faced many challenges and soon started infertility treatments. After many years, tests, and procedures without success, we felt called to pursue adoption, not realizing our greatest gift was yet to come. We met our son, Jude, in March of 2024, and our lives changed in the best possible way. He is the love of our lives and has been surrounded by the love and support of our family, friends, and community from the very beginning. The additional love of the family we gained through his birth parents and birth grandmother has been immeasurable, and we truly feel that it was meant to be. Jude is so ready to be a big brother, and we are thrilled to grow our family through adoption again. Hello & Thank You , We know your mind is probably running a million miles a minute right now, so we're grateful you're taking a moment to read this. Before we say anything else, thank you. Not for any decision you have or haven't made, but simply for the love that's clearly driving every step you're taking. The love it takes to be in this moment... to put your child's future above everything else... is something we deeply admire. Now, the introductions. We're Josh and Iffy, married for 6 years and residing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with our little household zoo (three cats and one very outnumbered dog). We are, at our core, a team, and becoming parents together has been our dream. Our road here hasn't been without heartbreak. We've faced years of infertility and the grief of multiple miscarriages. Those losses changed us, and in some ways they led us here to you, to this child, to this path. We don't see adoption as a last resort. We see it as exactly where we were always meant to end up. Your love for your child is already evident, and we honor the strength it takes to make decisions rooted in that love. We can only imagine how overwhelming this process may feel, and we deeply respect the courage, love, and care you are showing. Please know we are thinking of you and praying for you as you navigate this journey, no matter what you decide. We are incredibly grateful and excited to be growing our family through adoption after a long journey with infertility and loss. For three years, we pursued fertility treatments and experienced seven early miscarriages. During that time, God began to give us a clear vision for how we would build our family. While our season of infertility was painful, it also strengthened our marriage, deepened our communication, and helped us grow in patience, faith, and trust in God’s timing. It prepared us spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially for adoption. In March of 2024, we adopted our son, Dawson, from birth and were blessed to be by his birth mother’s side when he was born. We continue to share updates and photos with her today. We want you to know your child will be raised in a home filled with love, honesty, warmth, and support. We believe in teaching values such as respect, integrity, faith, and compassion, and we strive to make everyday moments meaningful as a family. Hello & Thank You , We want to begin by saying thank you. Thank you for taking the time to read about our little family and for considering us as you make one of the most selfless and loving decisions imaginable. We cannot fully understand what you are walking through, but we deeply respect your strength, courage, and love for your child. We want you to know that if you choose us, your child will be loved, protected, and supported in every part of their life. They will grow up in a home filled with laughter, fun, and rooted in faith. We believe God is guiding both your journey and ours, and that He will place the right family for you and the right child for us. Our journey to adoption has been shaped by both hope and healing. In 2021, we received an infertility diagnosis, and while that was difficult, it opened our hearts to adoption. We chose not to pursue IVF or fertility treatments, believing our path forward was meant to look different than we first imagined. Shortly after that, we were blessed with becoming pregnant with our daughter, Ryleigh. Becoming her parents has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. Even after having Ryleigh, adoption has remained on our hearts as a calling we cannot ignore. After prayerful consideration, we feel now is the right time to grow our family. Ryleigh has been asking for over a year to be a big sister, and we know she will love and cherish a sibling with her whole heart. Texas holds a very special place in our hearts. When Drew joined the military, Texas was our first duty station. It is filled with both joyful memories and difficult ones, as it is where we received our infertility diagnosis but also where God blessed us with the miracle of Ryleigh. It would mean a great deal to us if your child’s story, which began in Texas, became part of ours. We are open to any level of communication that feels right to you and want this relationship to be guided by what you feel most comfortable with. Family and friends have always been at the heart of who we are, and we are excited to continue growing our family through adoption.
