We are Kristin and Mark, and we have been together since November 2020, married in April 2022. When we first started dating, I shared with Mark that because of my reproductive issues, having a biological child might not be possible. He was very understanding and supportive and open to adoption as a way to start our family. 


Mark and I are surrounded by a huge support system on both of our sides, who cannot wait to have another child join the family. We have lots of nieces and nephews who are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new cousin to play with. Our parents are looking forward to having another grandchild to spoil. 


Your child will be raised in a loving Christian home, guided by values of kindness, compassion, integrity, and the importance of family. They will be loved unconditionally and always have unwavering family support in all they choose to endeavor.

Meet Mark

Meet Mark

Mark is the most wonderful husband. He is kind, loving, and very supportive. He is very thoughtful, always putting others' needs ahead of his own. Whether it’s making me dinner after a long shift at the hospital or surprising me with coffee and kolaches on Sunday mornings after walking our lab, Lincoln, he always finds ways to show his love in the little moments.


Mark is a very hard worker and a wonderful provider for our family. He has an incredible sense of humor and is constantly making everyone around him laugh. He’s also the go-to handyman, always ready to fix anything around the house.


Mark is incredible with children, and it makes me very happy to watch our nieces and nephews light up with laughter when he plays with them. He never misses their soccer and football games or school events, always showing up with unwavering support.

Our Story

We met in 2020 on an online dating app, and from our very first date at Top Golf, we knew there was something special between us. As we played, laughed, and got to know each other, we discovered our shared dream of marriage and starting a family. Over the next few weeks, our bond grew stronger, and by Christmas, we were celebrating together with Mark’s family.


Shortly after, we moved in together and began planning our future. In August 2021, during a family beach trip to Destin, Florida, Mark proposed, and we got engaged to be married!


In April 2022, we got married in a beautiful church ceremony surrounded by our families and closest friends. Our reception was filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable memories. Two weeks later, we set off on an incredible eight-day cruise to Key West and the Caribbean, where we rode horses on the beach, snorkeled in crystal-clear waters, and soaked in every moment of our dream honeymoon.

Kristin purchased our home in 2014—a cozy, one-story, three-bedroom, two-bathroom house in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood. Our large, fenced-in backyard is perfect for play, and we’re excited to add a swing set or jungle gym in the future. Just two blocks away, there’s a brand-new playground and a community pool open during the summer.


Our home is a place filled with laughter and love. We often host friends and family for dinners, game nights, and cookouts, creating wonderful memories together. It’s the perfect place to raise a child, surrounded by a warm and welcoming community. Once our family expands, we plan to move to a larger house in the same area.

Our Community

Our home is conveniently located within 30 minutes of several children friendly activities. Our city has a Children's Museum, a large Zoo, a children's waterpark, an Aquarium, Discovery Green, and live sporting events.


Living in a culturally diverse city, there is an opportunity to explore many different heritages and traditions. We are able to attend yearly festivals that celebrate the different ethnicities and cultures that help make up our city.

Mark's Family

Mark's Family

My parents have been married for 49 years and have created a strong foundation of faith and family. My sisters and I grew up attending church every Sunday, where I regularly sang and helped with the service. Our parents were always our biggest supporters, cheering us on at sporting events, choir concerts, and every milestone along the way.


Now that we’re grown, we’re closer than ever, and all live within 20 minutes of each other. We get together often to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and special occasions, making family time a priority. My sister Melissa lives with her husband and their two children, Christian (9) and Charlotte (6), while my sister Jessica has two children as well, Audrey (9) and Dillon (6).


We are deeply involved in our nieces’ and nephews’ lives, and they are beyond excited to welcome a new baby cousin. My parents, who adore being grandparents, can’t wait to shower another grandchild with love and create even more cherished family memories.

Family is very important to me. I am the oldest of two, with a younger sister who has a 17-year-old daughter excelling in both soccer and academics. Our parents provided us with a stable, loving home, instilling strong values, taking us to church on Sundays, and supporting us at our sporting events.


Although my parents live in different states—my mom and stepdad in Mississippi and my dad in Maryland—we stay closely connected through frequent trips and FaceTime calls. My mom and I share a special bond, and she visits every three months. I also make regular trips to Maryland to see my dad, where we enjoy Orioles games, fresh crabs, and the beautiful Baltimore Harbor view from his condo balcony.


I am also very close to my aunt and uncle, who live just five minutes away. Many of my cousins have children of their own, and we see them regularly, creating a strong and loving family network. Everyone is incredibly excited to welcome a new addition to the family, and we know this child will be surrounded by love, support, and endless cherished memories.

Our Fur Babies

Lincoln is our 5-year-old yellow lab. Mark brought him home in March 2020 and was able to spend the next year and a half together while he worked from home during Covid. Lincoln is a happy and playful dog. He loves it when our nieces and nephews come over and throw the ball for him in the backyard. His favorite thing to do is go on walks, especially in the fall and winter, when he can visit the field and chase after birds and rabbits.


We have two 5-year-old cats, Lukey & Claire, whom Kristin adopted at 4 months old. Claire is very friendly, loves to be held and petted, and loves all the attention. Lukey loves to sit in the windowsill and look at the birds outside. They also enjoy lounging in their treehouse and taking long naps. They love chasing their little balls & toy mice and getting treats.

Our family traditions bring us together throughout the year. We always celebrate birthdays as a family, and for holidays, we take turns hosting while everyone contributes a favorite dish.


At Thanksgiving with Mark’s family, we start the day with breakfast at his parents’ house, where his mom bakes a special bread for each family. His dad gifts a unique ornament to every grandchild and woman in the family. We alternate Thanksgiving and Christmas between both sides of the family.


Every December, my cousin Ben and his wife Ally host a Christmas party with White Elephant and gift exchanges. On Christmas Eve, Mark’s family makes chocolate or cheese fondue, and we end the night with a candlelight service.


We also love Halloween—trick-or-treating with our nieces and nephews and dressing up for our best friend’s annual karaoke party. These traditions help us stay close and make special memories together year after year.

Fun Times with Aunt & Uncle

We have an amazing relationship with our nieces, nephews and cousins. We attend their activities, whether it is a football, basketball, or soccer game, a karate match, gymnastics or a school play. We love taking the kids to live sporting events where they can cheer on the Astros and Texans. We also love having them over for sleepover parties, where we play games such as Uno, Sorry, & Sequence. We enjoy taking them out to eat, and then out for ice cream. We also like making dinner at home, and then making brownies together. They love going on walks to the park or playing with Lincoln in the backyard. They are so excited for a new cousin to arrive and can’t wait to play with him or her!

Spending time with our friends is important to us. We get together to celebrate birthdays by going to the lake and renting a house for the weekend. As a group, we enjoy playing board games, bowling, and visiting local wineries. We enjoy traveling to East Texas to visit Mark’s college roommate, his wife and 4-year-old daughter. We enjoy swimming, grilling out and watching movies with them. Every year, our friends, Beth & JJ, host a Halloween party where everyone dresses up; we each bring a favorite appetizer & sing karaoke. I am very close with many of my co-workers. We get together on a regular basis to celebrate each other’s birthdays & during the holidays as well.

Miguel & Courtney - Wisconsin

Hello & Thank You , We know your brain must be on absolute overload right now, but we’d like to take up just a little of your time. We’ll get to the introductions soon, but first, there’s something important we want you to know. We realize this process might not be what you envisioned, but if you choose us to be your child’s adoptive parents, we promise (and we don’t take this word lightly) that they will always know their story and where they come from. More than anything, we hope this can be the start of a lifelong connection, one where you remain a part of their life and ours, for the journey ahead. Now for the introductions. We are Courtney and Miguel, and we live in Wisconsin with our two dogs, Sumo and Delta. We met in college, became friends, and the rest is history. We’ve been together for 14 years and married for 10 years. Adoption has always been a topic of conversation throughout our marriage and has always been our “Plan A” rather than “Plan B.” Miguel was born and raised in Costa Rica, so we know the importance of learning and celebrating your heritage. Because Spanish is such an important part of his culture and family life, we plan to raise our child bilingual. We’re excited to share the language, traditions, and stories I grew up with, and to help them build strong connections with their heritage. One of the phrases that we find to be an important theme in our lives and relationships is “say what you are feeling out loud.” For both of us, communication is key in everything we do. We can only imagine the love, strength, and courage it takes to create an adoption plan, and we want you to know how much we admire and respect you for it. How do you find the words to write to someone you have not yet met, but already feel such deep love and gratitude for? The opportunity you are providing to help create a family that otherwise would not be is something we will never take for granted. We are truly honored to be considered as potential parents for your child, and we hold this moment with the utmost respect. We are Matthew and Lauren. We met in 2018, and on our very first date, we were already dreaming about having a family. We married in 2021 and quickly began planning to grow our little family. We have two dogs, Olly and Marvel, who we know would love a sibling to play with and protect. After learning that Lauren could not get pregnant, we realized that this was God’s way of guiding us toward something just as beautiful — adoption. Adoption holds deep meaning for us. Matt and his brother were both adopted as young children, and he has always known it would be part of his story, too. We are both incredibly grateful to have loving and supportive families behind us as we grow our family through adoption. From the very beginning, our parents, siblings, and extended families have cheered us on with open hearts. Hello & Thank You , We Are Matt, Brittni, Braelyn, and Noah! So, who are we really? We are an "always on the go, planning countless trips to the waterpark" type of family. We're full of joy and laughter, and we treat every day as a blessing. Whether it's making a late-night ice cream run in our jammies or cozying up for bedtime snuggles, we savor the simple moments together. We're excited to add another member to our crew and share more Disney adventures, backyard campfires, morning coffee and muffins, and all the love we have to offer. Our journey hasn't always been easy, but it has deepened our relationship and strengthened our faith. From a young age, adoption was something we talked about, prayed for, and felt called to pursue. We've been blessed to have loved ones in our family who are adopted, and we know firsthand how love transcends all circumstances, unconditional and boundless. Coming from large families with close-knit sibling and parent relationships, we've always known we wanted children to fill our hearts and home. ļ»æ We have one biological child, Braelyn, who fills our lives with indescribable joy. After complications following Braelyn's birth and the life-saving measures that were needed, we are unable to carry another child. After years of prayers, opening our hearts to foster children, and difficult decisions, God led us to pursue adoption. In 2022, we were blessed beyond measure to welcome our sweet little guy, Noah, into our family through adoption. His arrival forever changed our lives in the best possible way, and we are so thankful to have him and his birth family as part of our story. As parents, our main goal has always been and will always be to embrace the uniqueness and individuality of our children. We are their biggest cheerleaders, helping them grow, thrive, and know the deep blessing they are to us. Each child is gifted with their own strengths and interests, and it is our mission to create a loving, safe space where their creativity can flourish and where they always feel comfortable sharing their hearts, passions, and dreams. Hello & Thank You , First and foremost, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We can only imagine how difficult this decision must be, and we want you to know that your love and concern for your child’s future are deeply admired and appreciated. Our names are Claudia and Anthony. We have been together for eight years, married for six, and have known each other for more than twenty-five. Adoption has always been in our hearts. Our plan was to have a biological child first and then adopt, but God had a different plan. In 2020, we experienced a missed miscarriage, and despite trying again naturally, we were unable to conceive. We explored IVF and fertility treatments, but those were also unsuccessful. This path ultimately led us to adoption and to our greatest blessing, our daughter Lucianna, who joined our family in 2023. She is surrounded by love and brings us so much joy every single day. She cannot wait to be a big sister, and we cannot wait to grow our family again through adoption. If you choose us, your child will always know their adoption story and the incredible love and courage behind your decision. Hello & Thank You , Although we haven't met yet, we have been praying for you. We can only begin to imagine the emotion of your situation, and hope that you feel loved and supported no matter where you are on this journey. We respect your strength and your selflessness for considering adoption. We understand that you want what is best for your precious baby, and we do too, whether with you, with us, or with another great family. We are Carrie and Garot, from Wisconsin, and we are honored to be considered to raise your child. After initially meeting in college, we have been happily married for six years. We were blessed with a pregnancy, but at 23 weeks experienced a rare complication that led to the heartbreaking loss of our daughter and placed Carrie in the ICU for a month. Thankfully, she has fully recovered; however, future pregnancies would still carry the same risk. In 2023, we welcomed our daughter Gianna home through adoption. We look forward to her becoming a big sister in the future and to them being able to share their adoption stories with each other. We believe adoption is not about finding a child for a family, but more about finding a family for the child. Hello & Thank You , It is nice to "meet" you. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter about us. Our names are Caitlin and Josh. We cannot begin to imagine what you may be feeling right now, but we know that you love your baby deeply and want what is best for them. We admire and respect you for your decision to create an adoption plan and recognize the courage and strength it takes to get here. We have been married for 10 years and have wanted to start a family for a long time. After going through IVF and experiencing losses, we felt God calling us to adoption. Two years ago, we were blessed to become parents through the adoption of our daughter. She is truly the answer to every prayer we have ever prayed. We would love for her to grow up with a sibling and feel called to adopt again. We have a wonderful open adoption with our daughter’s birth mom and hope to have that same kind of relationship with you if that is something you would like. We are Christian and very family-oriented with large, loving families close by. It is important to us that our daughter and any future children grow up surrounded by love and support from not just us but from our extended family as well. We are blessed to see our families often and to travel together for holidays and special occasions. It brings us such joy to watch our daughter play with her cousins and experience those special family moments. Our greatest hope is to raise our children to know and love the Lord above all else. We want them to be kind, strong, and self-sufficient with a good work ethic and confidence in who they are. We will always encourage them to discover their passions and will support them however we can so they can reach any goal they may have for the future. We are eager to share more with you. Hello & Thank You , Thank you for considering us to be parents of your child. We cannot imagine what you’re going through and how difficult this must be, but we admire your strength and the love you have for your child. My name is Bre, and my husband is Lane. We began dating in 2018 and were married in 2021. Adoption has been on my heart since before we were married. By our fourth date, I shared with Lane that I likely wouldn’t be able to have kids biologically, and that adoption would likely be the route to starting a family. It may have been early in a relationship for such a heavy conversation, but luckily, it didn’t scare Lane in the least bit. His steady support only deepened my love for him. We are excited to grow our family and can’t wait to be parents. I was a teacher for many years and now work in an administrative role at a school. Between my time in education, time spent with friends’ children, and the wonderful moments I share with my niece and nephews, I’ve gained a lot of experience with children and love spending time with them. Lane is a project manager and enjoys the work-life balance his job provides. He has no work travel and very predictable hours, which we feel will be ideal when raising a child. Lane is amazing with our friends’ kids, our godchildren, and his niece and nephews, all of whom adore him. He’s always the favorite among the kids; they love playing and interacting with Lane and think he is so much fun. We are fortunate to have a huge community of friends and family all nearby. We spend a lot of time with them, and your child will be surrounded by that same love and support. We promise your child a warm, loving home filled with fun, safety, family traditions, and unique experiences. Growing up, Chelsea was surrounded by adoption. Two of her siblings, her aunt, and her uncle were all adopted, so building a family this way has always felt natural to her.
