Our Story

We first met in our last year of middle school. Anthony had the biggest crush on me, but I had no idea, even though everyone else seemed to know.  After middle school, we attended different high schools, but we often crossed paths through mutual friends and later reconnected on social media.

Years later, I moved to California to be closer to my sister, my nieces, and the beach, while Anthony was busy playing shows and recording albums with his band. When I learned he was single, I reached out, and our conversations quickly grew into something more. Not long after moving back to town, we met up and fell in love. Just two weeks later, in October 2017, we officially started dating.

Anthony proposed in January 2019, and that November, we were married in a small destination wedding on the beach. Our nieces were the sweetest flower girls, our parents proudly walked us down the aisle, and one of my best friends officiated. After exchanging vows, we took photos by the ocean before heading inside just as the rain began. Surrounded by our family and closest friends, we danced, laughed, and celebrated a night that so many of our loved ones still say was the best wedding they have ever attended.

We were blessed in the fall of 2023 with the life-changing call that Lucianna had been born. Overnight, we became parents, and it has been the most rewarding and proud experience of our lives. Lucianna is a very happy, smart, talkative, and independent toddler who lights up every room with her energy. She loves having dance parties with her stuffed animals or in her bouncy house. She also enjoys reading, and her eyes light up with excitement as she turns the pages, pointing out and naming familiar animals, colors, and characters. She is happiest when she is outdoors, whether going for walks, playing at the park, or exploring with her endless curiosity.

Our Home

Our home is located in a peaceful neighborhood just outside a major Texas city, where we enjoy the quiet of small-town living with easy access to all the city has to offer. It’s a cozy three-bedroom, two-bath house. We converted the office into a nursery, making it a special space just for our growing family. Our fenced backyard has plenty of room to run and play or just enjoy a sunny afternoon together.

Just a short walk from our house is a community pool with a splash pad and park. It’s a great place to relax and have some fun. Lucianna enjoys splashing in the water and playing on the playground. We also spend time at nearby parks that have plenty of trails for walking and biking. When we want more activities, the city is only a quick drive away, and we love visiting the zoo, children’s museums, and amusement parks as a family. There is always something fun to do, and we are grateful our children will grow up surrounded by so many family-friendly places.

I'm blessed to have my parents; they have been married for 40 years. I have 6 siblings (4 brothers & 2 sisters) and 16 nephews and nieces!



My parents are both retired and enjoy working in their yard, going to concerts, and attending sporting events. They adore being grandparents to Lucianna and are very excited to welcome another grandchild into the family.

I am very close with my immediate family. My parents have been married for 48 years and live just 20 minutes away, so we see them at least once a week. My dad is retired from the Air Force and his civilian job, and my mom works part-time at an elementary school. Before settling in Texas, our family lived in several countries in Europe, which gave us the chance to experience different cultures and foods.



I am the middle child with two sisters. My older sister has three children and my younger sister has seven. They both live nearby, so we see them and our nieces often. Lucianna absolutely loves spending time with her cousins—whether it’s family barbecues, cheer at the volleyball games, sleepovers, or just playing together at home. We enjoy taking them on outings to the movies, museums, parks, and the pool, but we also love the simple moments like movie nights, dance parties, and giggles around the house.

Family Is Everything

Family means everything to us. We both come from big, loving families, most of whom live here in Texas, with a few in Oklahoma, California, Puerto Rico, and New York. No matter the occasion—holidays, birthdays, or just because—we love getting together, and our gatherings are always full of laughter, food, and fun.

Between us, we have 25 nieces and nephews, ranging from little ones to grown adults. They adore Lucianna and love playing with her and teaching her things. We feel so grateful that she, and our future child, will grow up surrounded by cousins and a big extended family who already cannot wait to welcome another little one.

Holiday Traditions

We love celebrating holidays and special occasions. At Easter, we gather with family for a big egg hunt with all the kids. On the 4th of July, we enjoy a BBQ with loved ones and end the night watching fireworks. Halloween is always a favorite as we dress up in matching themed costumes, head to Zoo Boo, and enjoy handing out candy. We also love attending Día de los Muertos festivals each year. Thanksgiving is all about family, delicious food, and playing games together. Birthdays are a big deal in our family, and we always celebrate with cake, decorations, and fun traditions to make the day feel extra special.

Christmas is our absolute favorite. We put on matching Christmas pajamas, take pictures with Santa, drive around to see the lights, attend Christmas service, and spend time with family eating, playing games, and opening gifts.

Vacation Time

We enjoy getting away to see different cities and countries to experience new cultures. Since Claudia grew up in a military family, traveling has always been a part of her life. I did not travel much before meeting Claudia, but together we have made traveling an important part of our lives.



Now that we are parents, traveling is even more special. We typically take a trip every 4–5 months, whether it’s a weekend getaway or a beach vacation. Beaches are our favorite since they are naturally beautiful and relaxing. Lucianna loves splashing in the water and playing in the sand. One of our favorite trips as a family was visiting Disney and Universal Studios in Hollywood. We also share a love for live sports, so we enjoy traveling to different cities to watch our favorite baseball and football teams. Traveling as a family of three has already given us wonderful memories, and we are excited for all the new adventures still to come.

We are blessed to have a large and diverse group of friends. Many we have known most of our lives. They have been very supportive throughout our journey to expand our family, and we are thankful to have them in our lives.

With our friends, we enjoy traveling, celebrating birthdays and accomplishments, watching sports, having game nights, and going out to eat. Many of our friends are married and have children, and they’ve shared parenting advice and insight to help prepare us. They were thrilled when we welcomed our daughter, Lucianna, and it has been so fun to see her included in all the kids’ activities. Our friends are just as excited as we are to welcome another child into the group.
