First and foremost, we are so grateful for your consideration. While we cannot imagine all that you are going through, we support you. While we may never fully know the sacrifice you are making, we are grateful. We have longed to build our family for many years, and it is truly humbling to have you get to know us. 


We always knew that adoption would be a part of our family, and it has proven to be the biggest blessing in our lives. After we were married, we discovered that we had unknown fertility issues, and that was our sign from the Lord to choose to grow our family through adoption. We adopted our daughter Caroline at birth almost three years ago, and she has brought so much love and joy into our home and family. Now, we have hopes to bring home another sweet blessing, and we know that Caroline will be the best big sister! 


Our home is full of laughter and fun, and we truly love to spend time with each other. We strive to keep the Lord at the center of it all, and we have a lot of love to share. Our families have been so supportive, and they also cannot wait to add another baby.


We do not take this decision lightly and consider raising a child the greatest privilege. We admire your courage and see your strength. If we are chosen to parent your child, we ask for grace, and we thank you for the bravery you display. As much as your child may become a part of us, they will always remain a part of you. We want them to know that. Whatever decision you make, may you know that you are loved and that you and your baby's lives are precious. Meet Dan

Dan is the most amazing person on the planet. He is everything that I ever wanted in a husband, and our son, Garrett, is so lucky to have him as a father. He is kind, patient, and hard-working. He loves to spend his free time playing with Garrett and teaching him new things. I am 

so proud of the parent he is; Dan was meant to be a father. 

Meet Matthew

Matthew & Lindsay - Getting to Know Us

Our Story

We met on eHarmony in 2014 and went on our first date a week later! We met for sushi and took a walk on the beach. Since we lived an hour apart, we dated long-distance for the first six months. After that, Matthew took a new job and moved to my town to be closer. Ten months later, he proposed!


My friends set up a girls' night to get our nails done and have dinner at Olive Garden while Matthew supposedly had to work late. I wasn't too skeptical because it was a rainy Monday evening. However, upon arriving home, I opened the front door to a dark living room filled with candles and pictures of the two of us. There was also a rose pathway leading to Matthew. I was completely surprised! Matthew talked for a bit, then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course, I said, "Yes." We planned our wedding for later that fall, just five months later.


Though we both grew up in Florida, we had not ever seen ourselves getting married there because we wanted a beautiful wedding that wasn't too hot. We chose to have a destination wedding in one of our favorite places--Nashville, Tennessee. It was a gorgeous day surrounded by our family and friends, and though it ended up being a cold November day, it was one of the best days of our lives together. We had a hot chocolate and cider bar, a delicious dinner from our favorite restaurant, dancing with a live band, a s'mores bar, and a photo booth. It was so much fun!

    • Meet Caroline

    Caroline is our sweet and precious daughter. She is so smart, so funny, and curious about everything. She loves to help and is learning to be independent in many ways. She has the best hair and is so beautiful. She is kind to all and loves babies. Caroline loves going to school, reading books, listening to music, and helping Momma cook. She especially loves it when we get to spend time with her cousins and extended family. She is going to be the very best big sister and has a lot of hugs and kisses ready!

    We love our home so much because it is cozy, welcoming, clean, and organized. From the moment we saw it, we knew it was where we wanted to raise a family. It was renovated when we purchased it in 2017, and it was an answer to our prayers. We are in a quiet, older neighborhood with original trees and a golf course. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths. Matthew has remodeled each room by painting, replacing the trim, and renovating the ceilings.

    • Our Community

    Our home is in a great location, just minutes from our church, school, friends, and favorite restaurants. Our community is more diverse than most of our city and boasts one of the best school districts in the nation. While we do not have a pool, we use the local Y and rec center splash pad. Our city has many parks with playgrounds and hiking trails. We love to go to our adorable downtown for shopping, eating, and walking through local farmer's markets and coffee shops.

    • Matthew's Family

    Matthew's parents and oldest brother, Aaron, live in Florida and travel to visit us a few times a year to enjoy the cooler weather. His dad is an elementary music teacher, and both of his parents have backgrounds in music. Matthew's older brother, James, and his wife are doctors in North Carolina, and they have a one-year-old son, Vir. We usually spend a week all together in the summer for a family reunion of sort. This year, we went to Orlando and celebrated Matthew's parents' 50th anniversary!

    • Lindsay's Family

    Lindsay's family keeps on growing! Her parents are such fun and involved grandparents. Her mom, who lives nearby, loves to come over for dinner, meet at the park, and bring treats for Caroline. Her dad visits from Florida every few months, and we enjoy visiting him as well. Lindsay is blessed with four brothers and a sister, all of whom have grown their families through marriage and children. Despite living all over, we love to get together as often as possible. Cousins Waylon, Wakely, and Stevie often visit from Alabama, while we see cousins Wyatt and Emmy Kate in Missouri several times a year. Cousin Bennett, the youngest, lives in Florida, and other aunts and uncles are in Montana and Mississippi. It's always a joy to be together, and we cherish the moments the cousins spend with each other. This year, we even had our first cousin camp!

    Meet Dempsey

    Dempsey is our 14-year-old Yorkie Schnauzer, which we adore! He has the energy of a puppy and the gentleness of a mature dog. He is playful and fun! He's so patient with Caroline, and they love to play together. We are so glad they have each other!

    • We love celebrating and having fun together, whether on birthdays, dressing up for Halloween, Christmas, or anything special. We always decorate the house for each major holiday to feel festive. For Christmas, we love to pick out a real tree each year after our anniversary dinner, and then Matthew decorates the tree while I decorate the house. We have hosted our family here, and sometimes we travel to family for holidays. Birthdays are also a lot of fun for us and involve decorating the house and having a party with friends and family. We also host an annual Pumpkin Palooza party where we carve pumpkins, have fall treats, and sit around the bonfire.

    Travel Fun 

    Another thing we like to do is travel and explore new places, near and far. We have flown all around, but we also enjoy a good road trip together when we can stop and see things along the way.

    • Love Makes a Family 

    One thing that's very important to us is staying connected with our children's birth families. We met Caroline's first mama at her birth when we flew to Arizona, and we text back and forth pictures and messages almost weekly. We work very hard to be able to go back and visit her when we can. We have seen her family twice since she was born, and it is always such a joy to spend time with her siblings and sweet family. We want our children to grow up knowing who they are and just how immensely loved they are, not just by us but also by their first family. We are all a family.

    Hello & Thank You , My name is Kerstin, and I'm so grateful to you for considering me and my son Malakai as a possible match for you and your child. A single person might not have been your first thought for your child, but I have just as much support and love to give as a couple would have - or even more! My life is rich with family, friends, and opportunities. I have a successful career that provides my family with the resources to explore the world and experience new things. I would love the opportunity to share these wonderful experiences with your child. Malakai (Kai for short) was adopted at birth and is three years old. We have an open relationship with his birth mom and often send her pictures and videos. I am open and committed to whatever type of communication you would like. I want you to know that your child will always know their adoption story and the love you have for them. I am happy to answer any questions you have so that you can make the best decision for you and your baby. As you'll see in this profile, I have a deep love and appreciation for all different cultures, and I love to learn about people and places all over the world. Travel has been a big part of my life, and I also appreciate and value diversity close to home. We live on a street with families of many different backgrounds, and the schools and businesses in our neighborhood also reflect that diversity. I love languages and have studied Spanish and Haitian Creole. The public elementary school closest to our home is a dual immersion bilingual school (Spanish and English). I would love for Malakai and any future child I might have to attend this school because I highly value bilingual language skills and the opportunity to build relationships with classmates and teachers of many different backgrounds.     Hello & Thank You , Just saying thank you isn't enough for us to express our gratitude for considering us to be adoptive parents. We cannot begin to understand how difficult this decision is and that it is not taken lightly. No matter your decision, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are Amanda and Spencer. We have been together over ten years and have been married for three. From the very beginning of our relationship, we talked about starting a family, but God had different plans for us. Unfortunately, Amanda has faced health challenges that have led to infertility, which won't allow us to have our own biological children. Adoption has touched both our lives in meaningful ways. Spencer's mother was adopted, and she is ecstatic that we are pursuing this path. In addition, Spencer has two adopted cousins, and I have one as well. Both of our families are loving and supportive of our decision, and we are all ready to share unconditional love with a child. Since we both have relatives who were adopted, we believe it is important for your child to understand their adoption story from the very beginning.     Hello & Thank You , Our names are Zack and Lindsay, and we are so grateful that you're considering us to be a potential part of your adoption plan. We can't imagine how hard this is for you or what you're going through. We do understand there’s no way for us to truly grasp the weight of your decision, but we respect and admire your strength and courage. Through this letter and this book, we want to share a little about ourselves with you. We met in 2008, and it was love at first sight. After 6 months of dating, we got engaged and married in 2010. We knew early on in our marriage that we wanted to explore adoption to build a family, and we had lots of love to give. Over time, we grew together, strengthened our love, and prepared our lives and our home to provide a caring, nurturing environment for a new addition to our family. Our adoption journey was difficult due to our issues with infertility, but our motivation to adopt comes from a place of love and a desire to share that love by growing our family. In 2022, we were blessed with adopting a beautiful baby boy, Atlas, who is the light of our lives. It has been our privilege to watch him grow, learn, change, and develop. He’s shown us how wonderful and rewarding adoption can be, motivating us to continue our adoption journey. Atlas’s birth mom has become an integral part of our lives. We regularly share pictures and updates of all Atlas’s changes and activities, and we make sure that he’s aware that we’re sending updates to his birth mom so that as he grows, we can continue to share his adoption story with him. We feel it’s so important that Atlas’s birth mom gets to watch him develop, and we want you to know that we are open to whatever contact you would like. As a family, we want to honor and respect Atlas’s heritage, and one way we’re doing that is by learning Spanish together. Atlas attends a Spanish-speaking school, and we are learning Spanish along with him. We are both driven and have many hobbies, including physical and outdoor activities, reading, cooking, and continuing education. For us, raising children means bringing the most important people in the world along with us on new adventures and learning new skills.     Hello & Thank You , Thank you for taking the time to view our photobook and consider us as adoptive parents for your baby. We are so excited to be adopting a baby and finally becoming parents. We know you will follow your heart and make the best choice in selecting the family for your baby to join. We are Kristin and Mark, and we have been together since November 2020, married in April 2022. When we first started dating, I shared with Mark that because of my reproductive issues, having a biological child might not be possible. He was very understanding and supportive and open to adoption as a way to start our family. Mark and I are surrounded by a huge support system on both of our sides, who cannot wait to have another child join the family. We have lots of nieces and nephews who are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new cousin to play with. Our parents are looking forward to having another grandchild to spoil. Your child will be raised in a loving Christian home, guided by values of kindness, compassion, integrity, and the importance of family. They will be loved unconditionally and always have unwavering family support in all they choose to endeavor. We look forward to sharing our love of sports and music while encouraging them to explore their own passions. We can only imagine how overwhelming this decision may feel, and our hope is that, in the midst of it all, you feel empowered, supported, and surrounded by care. When we first got married, we began trying for a biological child, but after a long and emotional journey, we received the heartbreaking news that growing our family in that way would be extremely difficult. Despite these challenges, we've come through stronger and full of hope. We're now incredibly excited to grow our family through adoption.     Hello & Thank You , We know your brain must be on absolute overload right now, but we’d like to take up just a little of your time. We’ll get to the introductions soon, but first, there’s something important we want you to know. We realize this process might not be what you envisioned, but if you choose us to be your child’s adoptive parents, we promise (and we don’t take this word lightly) that they will always know their story and where they come from. More than anything, we hope this can be the start of a lifelong connection, one where you remain a part of their life and ours, for the journey ahead. Now for the introductions. We are Courtney and Miguel, and we live in Wisconsin with our two dogs, Sumo and Delta. We met in college, became friends, and the rest is history. We’ve been together for 14 years and married for 10 years. Adoption has always been a topic of conversation throughout our marriage and has always been our “Plan A” rather than “Plan B.” Miguel was born and raised in Costa Rica, so we know the importance of learning and celebrating your heritage. Because Spanish is such an important part of his culture and family life, we plan to raise our child bilingual. We’re excited to share the language, traditions, and stories I grew up with, and to help them build strong connections with their heritage. One of the phrases that we find to be an important theme in our lives and relationships is “say what you are feeling out loud.” For both of us, communication is key in everything we do. How do you find the words to write to someone you have not yet met, but already feel such deep love and gratitude for? The opportunity you are providing to help create a family that otherwise would not be is something we will never take for granted. We are truly honored to be considered as potential parents for your child, and we hold this moment with the utmost respect. We are Matthew and Lauren. We met in 2018, and on our very first date, we were already dreaming about having a family. We married in 2021 and quickly began planning to grow our little family. We have two dogs, Olly and Marvel, who we know would love a sibling to play with and protect. After learning that Lauren could not get pregnant, we realized that this was God’s way of guiding us toward something just as beautiful — adoption. Adoption holds deep meaning for us. Matt and his brother were both adopted as young children, and he has always known it would be part of his story, too. We are both incredibly grateful to have loving and supportive families behind us as we grow our family through adoption. From the very beginning, our parents, siblings, and extended families have cheered us on with open hearts. They are all so excited to welcome a new child into our lives and cannot wait to share in the joy. This book is a glimpse into our lives - who we are, the life we’ve built together, and the life we hope to share with a child.     Hello & Thank You , We Are Matt, Brittni, Braelyn, and Noah! So, who are we really? We are an "always on the go, planning countless trips to the waterpark" type of family. We're full of joy and laughter, and we treat every day as a blessing. Whether it's making a late-night ice cream run in our jammies or cozying up for bedtime snuggles, we savor the simple moments together. We're excited to add another member to our crew and share more Disney adventures, backyard campfires, morning coffee and muffins, and all the love we have to offer. Our journey hasn't always been easy, but it has deepened our relationship and strengthened our faith. From a young age, adoption was something we talked about, prayed for, and felt called to pursue. We've been blessed to have loved ones in our family who are adopted, and we know firsthand how love transcends all circumstances, unconditional and boundless. Coming from large families with close-knit sibling and parent relationships, we've always known we wanted children to fill our hearts and home.  We have one biological child, Braelyn, who fills our lives with indescribable joy. After complications following Braelyn's birth and the life-saving measures that were needed, we are unable to carry another child. After years of prayers, opening our hearts to foster children, and difficult decisions, God led us to pursue adoption. In 2022, we were blessed beyond measure to welcome our sweet little guy, Noah, into our family through adoption. His arrival forever changed our lives in the best possible way, and we are so thankful to have him and his birth family as part of our story. As parents, our main goal has always been and will always be to embrace the uniqueness and individuality of our children. We are their biggest cheerleaders, helping them grow, thrive, and know the deep blessing they are to us. Each child is gifted with their own strengths and interests, and it is our mission to create a loving, safe space where their creativity can flourish and where they always feel comfortable sharing their hearts, passions, and dreams. We promise to provide a joyful, loving home where they can be silly, radiate their true selves, and feel completely at peace. We are beyond excited to continue this beautiful journey and add another child to our family, creating lasting memories and traditions that will span the years. We cannot begin to fully understand the selfless and brave choice you have made in choosing adoption for your child, but we hope that, as you get to know us, you will find comfort, support, and reassurance in each step of this journey.
